Privacy Policy

Effective July 22, 2026

Tech Tactics LLC runs this site. This policy explains exactly what we collect when you use techtactics.us, why we collect it, and who else sees it. It is short because the site does very little with your data.

What we collect

The contact form collects your first name, last name, and email address, which are required, plus your phone number, company name, and message where you choose to provide them.

If you have just finished a remote support session, we may send you to a short feedback form. It asks for a rating and your comments; your name and company are optional, and you can leave them blank. That page also carries the session reference from the support tool so we know which visit you are describing.

We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or any other sensitive information anywhere on this site.

What happens to a form submission

When you submit either form, its contents are emailed to [email protected] so a person can read it. For the contact form, your email address is set as the reply address so we can respond directly.

Submissions are not written to a database or stored anywhere on this website. They live in our email, and we keep them for as long as we need to answer your inquiry and maintain ordinary business records.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move through this site — which pages get read, how long visits last, and which sources send traffic. We use it to improve the site, not to identify you.

Google Analytics sets two cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_ND5QXKL8N5. They hold a randomly generated identifier that lets Google tell one visit apart from another. It collects the pages you view, roughly where you are (a city-level estimate Google derives from your IP address), and basic device and browser details. Your full IP address is not shared with us.

If you would rather not be counted, you can install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

What we do not do

Beyond the analytics cookies described above, this site runs no advertising pixels and no cross-site trackers, and stores nothing else in your browser.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you used the contact form.

Spam protection and your IP address

To stop automated abuse, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. When you submit the form, your IP address and a verification token are sent to Cloudflare so it can confirm you are a person. Cloudflare handles that data under its own privacy policy.

We also limit how many times one address can submit the form per hour. To do that our server stores a one-way hash of your IP address — not the address itself — in a temporary file that is routinely cleared.

Fonts and hosting

Pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

Like virtually all websites, our web host keeps standard server logs of requests, which include IP addresses. These are used for security and troubleshooting.

Questions, corrections, and deletion

Email [email protected] and ask. We will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Because submissions arrive as ordinary email, deletion means removing the correspondence from our mail system.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles personal information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
